With performances in 25 languages throughout the United States and Europe, Aram Tchobanian has premiered works by Vanraj Bhatia, Thomas Cipullo, Yoav Gal, Jakov Jakoulov, Thomas Pasatieri, Marga Richter, Salvatore Sciarrino, and Ben Yarmolinsky, among many others. Recent premieres include Bhatia’s Agni Varsha, Gal’s3WEEKS, Nizan Leibovich/Isidore Elias’ The Peace, and Judith Berkson’s The Vienna Rite. Among his recordings are Gal’s Venus in Furs, Pasatieri’s Three Sisters, Richter’s Riders to the Sea and Yarmolinsky’s The Constitution, as well as four audiobooks. Aram is on the board of Joy In Singing, an organization celebrating its 54th year of promoting the art of the song recital.
