Assunta Ercolano is a graduate of the Boston Conservatory of Music. She appeared with the Liederkranz Foundation in “Der Wildschutz” and sang the role of “Esther” in Donald Sosin’s opera of the same name. She made her debut at Carnegie Hall as soprano soloist in Bach’s “Magnificat”, followed by her debut as Adele with the New Jersey Lyric Opera. Other roles include Susanna in “Le Nozze di Figaro”, Gretel in “Hansel und Gretel”, Serpina in “La Serva Padrona” and Monica in “The Medium”. She won the “Best of the “Bronx” recital competition at the Lehman Theatre and also performed a solo recital at Weill Hall. Her “Songs of Peace” are available on i-tunes. She is very proud of her daughter Tanya and thrilled to be performing this evening.
