Luis González’s engagements during the 2012–13 season include Harlekin in Ariadne auf Naxos at St. Petersburg Opera, Debussy’s Trois poèmes de Paul Verlaine at Symphony Space, and Luiz in The Gondoliers with Utopia Unlimited Opera Company. Recent appearances include Gob in The Poisoned Kiss at Bronx Opera, Harlekin in Ariadne auf Naxos with dell’Arte Opera Ensemble, Second Philistine in Samson et Dalila at St. Petersburg Opera, and baritone soloist in Beethoven’s Choral Fantasy with Orchestra of the Bronx.

A native of the SF Bay Area, González made his stage debut with Opera San Jose, singing alongside resident artists as Cheever in The Crucible, Servo d’Amelia in Un ballo in maschera, and in new productions of Le nozze di Figaro, Tosca, Carmen, Der fliegende Holländer, La bohème and Don Giovanni. He is an alumnus of San Jose State University and the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where he sang Guglielmo in Così fan tutte and Ruggiero in Alcina. Follow on Twitter: @LGBaritone.
