Soprano Tammy Tyburczy graduated from the Juilliard School with a Bachelor of Music Degree in 2000. In May of 2004, she graduated with a Master’s Degree from the Curtis Institute of Music, where she performed roles such as Poppea, Musetta, Anne Truelove, Norina, and Susanna. Tammy performed the role of Laurie in The Tenderland at The Danny Kaye Playhouse with The Orchestra of St. Luke’s. Ms. Tyburczy sang Musetta in La bohème for the San Francisco Opera’s Western Opera Theater tour and Teofane in Handel’s Ottone rè di Germania for the Badische Stattstheater in Karlsruhe, Germany. She also sang Susanna at The Aspen Music Festival conducted by Harry Bicket. In the summer of 2006, Ms. Tyburczy performed recitals at The Ravinia Festival. From 2007 to 2011 Tammy sang the soprano solo in The Lord of the Rings Symphony, originally sung by Renee Fleming conducted by John Mauceri, with the Utah, Baltimore, New Jersey, Pittsburgh, and The Leipzig Gewandhaus Symphony orchestras. Other appearances included The Governess in The Turn of the Screw and Romilda in Serse with the Pittsburgh Opera Center. Tammy also sang Marzelline alongside Jane Eaglen in Fidelio and covered Ruth Ann Swenson as Marguerite in Faust while she was in residency there. In 2008 she sang Pamina with the Pittsburgh Opera. She also sang Lamento Della Ninfa by Monteverdi with Moving Theatre in 2009. Tammy recorded the soprano solo in The Evidence of Things Not Seen with Albany Records featuring Mikael Eliasen. The CD was released in 2011. In early 2012, Tammy signed with Vamnation Entertainment and most recently sang voiceovers for the Hyundai, Kettle Chips, and Trident commercials. In December 2012, Tammy will sing the soprano solo in The Messiah with The Young Voices of Sarasota.
